BEST 3 BUDGET FRIENDLY WAYS TO SHOW YOUR HOME SOME LOVE

Are you ready to spruce up your home, but don't have a lot of money to do it? Don't worry, we're here to help! Today, we're going to share with you the best three budget friendly ways to show your home some love!

Let's do a countdown again, because we just love a good countdown!

TIP #3 - TACKLE THAT REPAIR LIST!

Maybe there's little projects around the house that you've just been neglecting to do. Well, pick a day and tell yourself you're going to tackle just one of those projects. It could be as simple as patching that hole in the wall, replacing those light bulbs, or fixing those sprinklers. Whatever it may be, tackle those little tasks that are always nagging at you and don't cost that much to repair. It's a great way to show your home some love and finally cross those lingering things off your To Do List!

TIP #2 - PAINT EVERYTHING!!! (ok, maybe not everything)

This one is probably our favorite because we've been painting everything lately! Paint is great because it's relatively cheap and can totally transform a space! So something super easy and trendy right now is to paint your front door. If you don’t have a nice stained front door (which you can easily re-oil), paint it! Trendy colors we love right now are Riverway blue by Sherwin Williams, Folly Green by Farrow & Ball, and Vermillion red by Farrow & Ball. You can also paint a room of course, or paint a piece of furniture, which is a great way to give a modern twist to antiques.

TIP #1 - DECLUTTER & REORGANIZE!

Now, my (M'Lissa speaking here) boyfriend teases me sometimes that I might be a little OCD when it comes to organization—which may be true—however, we do think it is a great way to fall in love with your home again! We recommend you pick a day, and do this: you're gonna have three different piles or bins. Pile #1 is going to be things that you want to keep—which, by the way, if you haven't used it in a year, we would recommend you just get rid of it because you probably won't miss it and you probably don't need it. Pile #2 are things that you want to donate or give away, and Pile #3 are things that you're going to trash.
